On February 26, the Guangzhou-Foshan (Fogang) Industrial Park held a signing ceremony for major projects in the first quarter of 2025. Lin Wuyang, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Guangzhou-Foshan Industrial Park, Liu Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Fogang County Party Committee of Qingyuan City, Wang Shu, Deputy County Magistrate, Wang Chuan, Deputy Director of the Office of the Guangzhou Counterpart Assistance and Cooperation Qingyuan Command Headquarters, and other leaders and representatives of entrepreneurs in the park attended the signing ceremony.

It is reported that the 28 key projects signed, started and put into production this time are the four pillar industries of the park, namely beauty and daily chemicals, intelligent manufacturing, new materials, and biomedicine. The total investment is about 2.392 billion yuan, and the annual output value is expected to increase by more than 4 billion yuan.

Building a "1-hour Greater Bay Area supply chain ecosystem"

As the main platform and main battlefield for the orderly transfer of industries in Guangdong Province, the Guangzhou-Foshan Industrial Park has deeply implemented the "strengthening, supplementing and extending the chain" project to help optimize and upgrade the park's industries. Under the current economic environment and industry development trends, logistics costs are one of the important factors for enterprise development. Through research, it was found that compared with Guangzhou, the logistics costs in Fogang County and even Qingyuan City are relatively high. In addition, against the background of the rapid development of the e-commerce industry, live streaming of e-commerce products is an effective way for companies to expand sales channels and respond to market changes. In order to clear the bottlenecks in logistics and sales channels for enterprises in the park, starting from the second half of 2024, the Management Committee will actively connect with relevant leading enterprises and introduce logistics and e-commerce services to help enterprises improve their market competitiveness. In the spring of 2025, the Management Committee reached an agreement with JD Logistics Group and Guangdong Jingwang Brand Planning Co., Ltd. to break the bottlenecks in logistics and sales in the park. JD Logistics will move into the park in March this year to provide services and build a "1-hour Greater Bay Area supply chain ecosystem". By then, the logistics efficiency of park enterprises will be improved by 30% and operating costs will be reduced by 25%; the e-commerce live broadcast base was also unveiled and put into use on the same day, focusing on assisting small and micro enterprises such as beauty and daily chemicals in the park to expand sales channels and increase sales through the technology and platform of live broadcast e-commerce. The two companies work together to provide practical and reliable support for the logistics and sales of the park.

Lin Wuyang said that the park had a "good start" in the spring of 2025, and what was particularly exciting was the introduction of logistics and e-commerce projects this year. Logistics is an important supporting factor for the development of enterprises in the park. While accelerating the construction of the park's main road, Yizong North Road, and improving infrastructure, we also focus on introducing logistics and e-commerce companies to provide more efficient and economical logistics and transportation services for park enterprises, helping enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency, expand service width, and tap service depth. In the future, the park will continue to benchmark the advanced experience of Guangzhou Development Zone, focus on enterprise needs, and promote the high-quality development of the park by meeting the urgent needs of enterprises and worrying about the worries of enterprises.

The event also witnessed the unveiling ceremony of the e-commerce live broadcast base, and pioneered the smart logistics and e-commerce innovation interviews, providing entrepreneurs in the park with a service platform that integrates learning, communication, and cooperation. During the interviews, the entrepreneurs had in-depth discussions with relevant persons in charge of JD Logistics and the live broadcast e-commerce base on how to optimize the logistics system, expand e-commerce sales channels, reduce costs and increase efficiency in the actual operation process, further promoting the cooperation and development between park enterprises and the e-commerce and logistics fields.

With the steady progress of the projects signed and put into production in the first quarter, the Guangzhou-Foshan (Fogang) Industrial Park will usher in new development opportunities. The enterprises signed and put into production this time have strong industrial radiation capabilities and will link and introduce upstream and downstream enterprises in high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, beauty and personal care industries. After the project is settled, the industrial cluster advantages of the park will be more obvious, forming a more powerful industrial ecology.
